Wow just got back from detectors heaven, a couple of weeks ago I got permission to hunt in a park in a nearby town it has a few shelters a sand volleyball court and a couple of playgrounds a huge golf course and softball and soccer fields. This week the guy that let me hunt there was in the store where work I and he said the place to hunt was around the soccer fields and softball fields but the whole place is fenced in so I ask how do I get to them and he said just come find him and he would let me in. So today I got there about 8:00 am and he was just driving up with his boss and after meeting him they said good luck and told me to just drive along golf course path and it will take me to the soccer fields they also told me that way back in the corner is where the old fair grounds are as I drove the golf cart path in my jeep I could not keep from laughing and feeling like a kid in a candy store. So I get back there and start hunting and another guy comes and says he got a call about a car back there that wasn't supposed to be there but he called the guys at the shop and they to him it was the Napa guy. And he asked if I would mind helping him find the metal markers for the soccer fields so he can paint the lines and get them ready for the season and I said I would we found all but one and the whole time he was thanking me for the help and the whole time I am thinking thank you because he is telling all about the place and its history and how whenever I want to go hunt there I have free reign of the place he even said if I want to play golf or to reserve a shelter for a picnic or anything let him know. I took us about an hour or so to find the markers so I only hunted for a couple hours after that and found a little bit of change but the place is awesome and it should have lots of goodies and it will take me a long time to hunt this place.

man i love it when the keepers are that nice, what a cool open door, great find coming from that one
