It looks like the GTI 1500 and the GTP 1350 have been discontinued...

Sad news...but looks like it is true. The new International catalog does not have them in it. I thought, no big deal...but I went to Garrett's website and selected metal detectors...and they are not in the drop down list now to select the webpage for those detectors.

Oh well...they had a good run. The GTI 2500 is still available...

Maybe they have something in the works to replace those HOT coin shooters! The GTI 1500 was prob the best coin shooter in the WORLD!

For those who lost the GTI 1500 page...here it is: http://www.garrett.com/hobbysite/hbby_gti_1500_main.aspx

And the GTP 1350 page here: http://www.garrett.com/hobbysite/hbby_gtp_1350_main.aspx

A moment of silence...

I noticed that too. Had a 1350 before I bought my AT and it was an great coin shooter.

Minelab just dropped two of their machines as well. Must be that time of year....

Hmmmm, by discontinuing the 1350 and 1500 maybe they are simply just clearing the way for the at pro? After all, all 3 are just about in the same price range. Garrett might just be purging the system, with no plans to introduce a new machine to replace these 2.

They could be like other companies and just regurgitate the same ole' thing in a different package! At least they try to advance!

I cant count how much loot I have found with my 1500

Has anyone looked on Ebay to see what these machines are selling at?
Too bad they have been discontinued. Most people who own them have the
best things to say about them.
