it just had to snow!

Went fishing in a desolate and extremely rough place a week and a half ago. Found some stone foundations and all these shovels under some trees along with a railroad stove and lots of glass and broken snuff jars. I know it's not very old (1905-1912) but I can't wait to see what lies below the ground in the spring. there is now about three feet of snow here since last week!

Interesting, very interesting! Makes me wonder why the shovels were left there. They weren't cheap back in the day. Too bad you had your fishing pole instead of your detector........or did you catch supper that day? HH, Nancy
