Can't believe what I got tonite. I dropped my daughter off for kayaking, leaving me about 1 1/2 hour window detecting. I headed to a nearby school, hunted the yard and found 2 gold rings, minutes apart and about 3 feet from each other. Now that sure is a rarity....

I did the math, and at today's gold spot price, the gold is worth $250.20 US.
 
any initials?..might try locating original owners!

Heck one gold ring per trip is great, two gold rings is priceless to quote a TV commercial. I would feel those before you cherrypicked the high coins and left the goodies for you.

Which Metal Detector did you use?

I think John has been using the Garrett Scorpion of late.
If you look at the first picture he always shows a small avatar of the detector he uses.
