It just can't be

It just can't be this good can it, I put a new set of batteries in my F2 tonight & it almost seemed like a different detector - I gained depth/better pinpointing/etc. The old batteries that I took out were a quality brand of alkaline batteries showing 2 bars though. I hunted about 20 minutes and found about 35 coins & my wife said let me try it, she didn't go 10 feet and I heard a beep after she dug up the target she said come here and look at this, it was a nice silver religious cross. The rain came down and we had to leave. It is a good feeling knowing that the F2 will find jewelry also. Steve.

I noticed too that it takes a good while for the battery meter to get to 2 bars but once that happens it goes downhill quick from that point, maybe 2-3 hrs. after that. I don't use the pinpoint button either. Good Luck!
