It is my Birthday today. Nancy got me a one of those new-fangled digital cameras, and I found some gold and bling to try it out on! :)

I have been working way to much to have any fun this summer, but in honor of my birthday Nancy made me take a day off. We spent the morning at my water hunting spot. I found a lot of change and junk jewelry in the rather cool neck deep water while Nancy was cleaning up on land.( I will try to post some of her finds later) I managed to snagg this nice gold ring. It sure looked good in the old water scoop after not hunting for a while.

I took my first ever photo with my new digital camera, of the ring. I stuck it in a crack on my picnic table and used the macro. With a lot of help from my techno-wife, I am able to make my first digital photo post. Not a bad birthday!
