It could Have Been Gold!....A Short Hunt.......

Goldstrike

Well-known member
A less than 2 hour hunt in a park yeilded a cheap but pretty ring (which I will give to my sweet 6 year old grandaughter)! 2 flattened copper amusement park memento's, the remnants of a spoon or fork and a few clad coins.
3 week ago, I took a bad fall and sprained my ankle real bad so it took some effort to get out but I'm glad I did!! The pic of my foot is about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Sorry to gross everyone out! :)G.L. & H.H. all.

I bet you rolled that ankle over to side? Did that a few
Yrs ago and looked the same. Matter of fact twice in 5 mins. Thats what i get for playing basketball in running shoes. Never again! Hope its healed now!

Dude! Nice work, but dang..I dont know how you can hunt on a busted wheel like that, gotta hurt!...coincidentally, I talked to some old guy yesterday who lost his leg after breaking his ankle last year...says he just kept walking on it...he now has a fake leg, but still plans on going hunting this year...says theres a lot of benefits to only having one leg though, made sense too!..
Mud.

Thank you! apart from some leg cramps, it's almost back to normal...... Mud.....I'm tempted to share some 'man with a wooden leg' jokes but I better not, I wouldn't know when to stop! LOL!!!!
