It appears I'm unable to ground balance my CZ 21!

Greetings,

I'm searching in shallow salt water beaches, wading to shoulder depth; I'm not able to GB my CZ 21 on the wet sand or in the water with the "Pinpoint method"; and maybe with the other method (never tried very hard!).

So I'm setting Ground 10 and the unit seems to be very stable and still pick up targets.

I'm in danger to lose some target running the CZ this way?

Thank you for your help!

If it does not GB, which is usual for wet salt sand, set it on 10....I believe the manual states that.

I set mine on ten and go ground it can be set usually aroun 5-7 for my soil here in SC. Beach nothing but 10. I set it all metal full sens and then switch to disc to verify the target is not iron.

Thanks buddy. I thought for certain I was gonna win the auction for one on eBay but the price greatly exceeded what I wanted to pay for a machine with obsolete parts. Too bad this model is going away. Hang on to yours!

Thank you to all of you, you are very kind; I'm sleeping well now.

My CZ have started to repay itself! One thick wedding band rested on the bottom of my scoop this morning at dawn!

I'm very happy!:bouncy:

WTG! That CZ is DEEP. Especially in the dry sand. HH
