About this same time last year I was having a pretty bad dry spell, not finding much at all. And then one weekend in December the dry spell was broken after finding the smallest gold ring ever.
This year seems to be working out the same way, This comes in as a close second to the smallest gold ring I have ever found.

I'm hoping for a repeat of last year, I hope my dry spell is over and done with this time too!

1- gold 1-silver and 1- uuuhhhmmm??

What's really wierd is the fact that I didn't dig up ANY coins at all, just jewelry and lead - huh!!??
Oh, and the obligatory pull-tab.

Did it give you a faint signal since it's thin? What detector were you using?
Nice find, that would be a good day for me!

When you're hitting that many sinkers, gold can't be far off. Congrats on finding some gold and have a Merry Christmas.

Cheers,
