I haven't had my Explorer SE Pro but about a month and half and was beginning to think I wouldn't find my first silver with it 2011. Here in the high mountains of southwest Virginia is usually cold and freezing this time of year. But, I was able to get out for about an hour yesterday. The merc is a 1943; the wheaties are '41, '44, and '45.

Maybe I'll go out again today, it's pretty nice out there again.

Nice! Glad you could get out this late in the year. My new Explorer is about 25 miles away, the UPS man dropped it today. I hope Indiana has a few more nice days before the big freeze and knee deep snow, so I can play.

David, I clean my copper and clad with a stone tumbler. I use aquarium gravel, water, and a drop of dish washing liquid and that's all - of course I do not put silver in the tumbler but I use a toothbrush and warm water.

Thanks for your kind words.
