Ist beach hunt with the Cibola & coil Q.

Its been many years since I had a Tesoro. Time to try one out! I picked up a souped up Cibola, that has a ground balance and trigger switch . I took it to a beach first. I plotted out a 20 x 50' area. I gb'ed and set the disc above tabs, super tuned it and checked out the area. Pulled a few clad. Figuring that I missed a bunch, I got out my trusty Explorer SE, with the 8" coil , and rescanned the area. I came up with one penny,that I missed with the Cibola! I like this Tesoro! Liteweight, quiet, and it gets the goods. This baby goes as deep as my explorer, on the beach, which was a real eye opener!
I like it so much, I've got a golden umax on the way to use as a clad and jewelry hunter. I plan on getting a ground sweep coil for the wide open spaces, and a smaller coil for the heavy trash areas. I'm thinking about a 7" dd coil. Does anyone used this coil?

There's something about a Tesoro that puts a smile on your face. :)

I've been wanting to try a 7 inch DD coil, but haven't gotten around to it. From what I've read it sounds like a really good coil.

Yep, you don't need to spend over a grand to get quality and performance. Dollar for dollar a Tesoro is hard to beat.
