Isn't It Easier With The Upper Rod Also ?

I noticed that many people have just the lower rod on their spare coils....I tried it and still found it somewhat of a pain to switch coils. I went with both the lower and upper rods, and for an extra $20.00 ( or less ) found it to be a lot easier.

Are many using both lower and upper rods on their spare coils ?

I use both upper and lower on the E-Trac but on my V3i or DFX I find all I need is the lower for a quick and easy change.
