Islamic anger over cartoons ... look or not look at them; your decision. Free speech I think, but where is the line ? Link below

The blogs after the 'toons are pro and con. The publishers undertook to perhaps vent and display public anger at the Islamic extremist's bombings and attacks. Likely, there was an element of mischief in the equation too; poop disturbing if you will. Truth is, the cartoons aren't that good and could be said to depict any number of different men; past or present. I expect loss of life may occur soon.

The Islamic world should have simply ignored the cartoons and the offending papers would have been used to wrap fish, stuck in the canary cage or used for some other mundane purpose. Their energy should have been better directed to the cause of peace and problem solving, wherever they might live

Our problem is we are using 21st century thinking to combat 12th century thinking.

If we used their methods, the problem would be solved. We would annihilate them and be done with it.

Of course there are many amongst us that abhor that type of action and would rather ignore the problem until it sneaks up on them and bites them in the a$$.

Religion, when used as a political tool, has caused more death and suffering than any other action in man's past.
