Yesterday's NASCAR race at Pocono was very late in getting started because of rain. During the rain delay, TNT, looking for any "fill" they could find, did a short bit on Carl Edwards (Driver of the Office Depot 99 car) and one of his teammates metal detecting near Carl's motor home.

The teammate was using a DFX and "detected" a quarter during the segment. Carl went on to talk about how they detected some ski slopes and found some spending money.

Pretty cool and some good ad material for White's if they are savvy enough to use it!!!

I saw that segment. They even spent considerable time on it. Carl Edwards had bought it for one of his crew members.

I was at the RACE! The rain delay kind of sucked. At the end, I heard Jeff Gorden Screaming at his crew chief to let them know that it was pouring rain in turn 1. I was near turn 3 and didn't get a drop.

All in all, it was a GREAT DAY!
