:yikes: Hey all you Garrett hounds, I dug this up in an old lot where a house sat in the late 19th century, probably 1890-1899, it had considerable oxidation, and was about 9" deep, it weighs pretty hefty, 1-1/2" X 3/4" in size....let's see if any one out there can tell me what maybe it could be, or how to test it for gold content, without carrying it to a red-eyed dealer of sorts....also pulled up a Rogers Sterling spoon, and a Leo Glass Brooch, along with some wheaties from the fortys and a mercury dime 1921.....thanks for looking, Jack.

:nopity: Well, at least my heart did a little dance, for a while, thanks guys, I'll just keep on digging, and dreaming and hoping and praying and oh, always keep fresh batteries in my Ace...Jack:pulltab:

Hey You Guys!!!!! I went back to the sight where I found my hunka hunka burning slag, and picked up a Rogers Nickel Silver spoon, of which has the anme of whatit is right on the back, (no guessing this time), and an art noveau brooch made by Leo Glass, from the 40's-50's, so things are looking up, keep on keeping on....Jack

DUH...........I forgot I already had bragging rights on this stuff, goes to show you how your mind can be effected by all that glitters...Jack
