Hi all,
Found this a month back. Was wondering if it's silver. It has a ridged edge like a U.S. quarter and is about the same size. Makes a "tinking" noise when dropped on a table like a silver quarter does and wasn't encrusted like U.S. clad coins are once they've been in the dirt for a while.
The local coin shop has a grouchy old cuss who won't take questions over the phone. I guess it interrupts him pulling the wings off of flies or yelling at kids.
And if anyone is familiar with Portuguese Escudos, any idea if it has any value?
Thanks for your help!
- Ron
