Hello to all, I was out yesterday at a freshwater swimming hole and found this bracelet. Can anyone tell me it they think it's gold by the marks in this photo? Thanks for any help.

My guess would be G.P. stands for Gold Plate, 10 mex . is 10k mexico. So I would say you have a 10k gold plated bracelet made in mexico. HH

Hi phil mate it looks like the links on that chain are nearly worn through check where they are worn and see if there is a different colour ,it may be a goodie but check it eh.terry in oz:ausflag:

Don't you believe it PaPa, GP stands for gold plumb, most times. I'll betcha that is a winner. 10K gold plumb, meaning actually .417 or 10K gold content.

I would scratch a small place in a hidden area and check to see if it were plated. I have only found 2 pieces of Plum Gold and both were marked Like 10KP or 14KP. not with g.p. ahead of the Karat weight. Either way he may want to take it to a Jeweler and have it checked. HH
