Is this a metorite

I was detecting and came accross this little guy, at first I thought it was a hot rocks, but it jumped on to my super magnet when I ran it accross it. It is very heavy for it's size, I don't know anything about metorites, any info would be appreciated.

The last rock I saw posted that looked like that turned out to be hematite, rather than a meteorite.

That's not to say that your rock "isn't" a meteorite, just that there are rocks here on earth that have a lot of the same properties.

It is real black, it just looks silver because it is under a bright light. I took the picture 3 times, the other two pic's did not turn out, it just looked like a black dull blob, and I gave it a good scrubbing.
