Unfortunately Garrett has changed the wording on the Pro-Pointers cap so you can't be 100% sure looking at the end cap "and Patients Pending" is usually found on the fakes. Also on the fakes the LED sticks out and the scraper bar has a different profile, lastly the Chinese fake has a large dimple on the pointer end where the original does not.
At one time the 'knock-offs' all had the same serial number but that seems to have been quickly rectified. The AT knock-offs had a lighter colour when they first hit the market but this may have changed also popping the speaker cover off will reveal the absence of a speaker...

Yours is the AT and the end cap looks to be original, everything is in the right place.

If you bought a knock off are they as good as the Garrett ? I know the Garrett pin pointer I have quits working when the battery still has 3/4 power left.
