than 1c, 2c pieces and pulltabs, screwcaps and crushed cans??
Yes yes I know there is - im just at a low ebb, thats all I seem to find.
Here in New Zealand I seem to havea ll to myself - never see other detectors, but maybe thats cos theres nothing to find??
How come theres no old toys, penknives,badges etc of days gone by?? Reseach - you say - yes I know - maybe I just need to do more of it - to tell teh truth Im struggling to find resources for establishing history of houses/parks etc...
any ideas?
this forum does help to keep me going...

I'm not familiar with where you live (nz),however over here some of the useful infirmation rescources are: local historical societies,local library,museums,even place names can be a tipoff,for instance anyplace called grove(picnic grove),river fords(used before bridges were built)and of course older people. hope this helps
 
I know man there should be fields of rings and pre 1900's coins. Where are they? If you find them, hook me up. I wont tell a soul. HH
