IS THERE ANYONE WHO REPAIRS SOVEREIGN METERS MINE DON'T SEEM TO CALIBRATE AND DOES ANYONE CONVERT IT TO A 180 METER AT THE SAME TIME. THANK YOU

When you try to calibrate what happens?is this a 550 meter? There are a lot of these older Minelab meters that have been used on salt beaches and the circuit boards are in bad shape.

Contact the Minelab repair center at Kellyco. They deal with no longer supported ML gear. Barry had me do a few tests at home before sending it in, one was to be sure the meter and coil were ok. They are. They repaired my Sov XS at a very reasonable price.
... Ask for Barry.

I just did a 180 conversion (incredily easy and my first time solvering onto a PCB). My pot was incredibly corroded. My guess is that'll be you're problem, but you should seriously consider spending around $3 on parts (provided you have a soldering iron) and try this yourself. Hard to mess it up really.
