----Hi again friends;)
been wondering for quite some time now......"where have all the fisher gone -long time ago "
------------come on quickers ,excellers edgers and strikers i know you are out there somewhere -----
just borrowed an edge from an old m.d. friend of mine ,-have ordered the small black doughnut coil
from Fisher ,going to take the little rascall out into some deep forest detecting
i am very grateful for any type of tips&trics you have
happy hunting and a prosperous spring to you all
trond ;)

Hello
I have an edge and use it as my main detector the best tip i can tell you is to set it up in custom program with it set at -3 or -4
sen leval set just below alot of faultsing every now and then is good and when you get a tone look to see what the I.D. Number is if it looks good dig it if its if e dig it too as sometimes you will have two or more coins in the same hole and it will throw off the numbers alittle bit and dig all the deep ones as it might be a really good one i find most of my silver coins are deeper then 5 inchs now in my neck of the woods hh

hi there deerman.....
thanks a lot for the tips------ i have tried this machine once before and in a sandy spot with lots of
man made iron it sneezed out a tiny little norwegian 10 ore from the reign of Oscar II ...in between bottle caps
and small bits of iron thrash ----remarkable as this coin is smaller than a dime.
------- i had an id excel once --but since fisher did not bring out a small coil,-- i changed it for a whites mxt

thanks again and a prosperous summer to you
trond

The EDGE has 3 loops, and is a depth demon with the 10.5. If you run with
0 disc on iron, there is less falseing of iron coming in at upper notches.
Let the detector do the job of telling you how much iron you are walking over, and also
this helps if a coin is near a piece of iron. If you get a possible signal, just "X" it from different
directions, and if there is a coin you will know. The EDGE is a VERY underrated detector.:detecting:

thanks vlad...;)
------it is underrated for sure --sort of wolf in sheepskin i think.......
happy hunting and good luck to you
trond;)
