the older Whites 6000 Di Series 3 detectors? Are they a decent machine. Are they still worth anything much? I may be getting one soon that is in near new condition and was wondering whether i should even bother putting it up for sale or not. Appreciate any info as to value. Thanks.

Those older analogs still work very well and have a following. Ergonomics are not as good, they're big and a little heavier than the later small box models. Performance wise...they are excellent. There's a lot to be said for a cost to performance ratio in using one. Perfect low cost starter....heck....finisher (for the value minded). Still a "Big Boy"!

Any idea as to what it might be worth if it is in very good shape? Would they be worth $125 to anybody? I just would want to get my money back on it. I placed a bid on one on e-bay and i don't really need, or want it.
