Is there another brand of wireless headphone that will work on the V3I:twodetecting::whites:

Not with the built in transmitter. There are aftermarket wireless headphones you can plug into the headphone jack but you will not get anywhere near the quality and features.

The Whites phones are proprietary. Not bluetooth like everything else, they have more in common with household wireless telephones. Bluetooth was far to slow to be effective. They needed a real-time wireless solution so they got started with an off the shelf solution and then built it up from there. They are awesome!!

Yes but the noise isolation is not good and there is a slight delay. I purchased a small set and will use them for educational purposes in the field. They are useable as a primary set for some, but I can't tolerate that ever so slight delay, way lesser quality of build and terrible noise isolation. The delay does add to audio fatigue, but for teaching...it should be fine. Don't think they are a good substitute for the ones White's worked up...they aren't.
