Is there an Explorer "wiggle"

like there is on the Sovereign? Or does the circuitry of the Explorer work differently?

I use a wiggle with the Explorer as I used to have a Sovereign. What I think the wiggle does for the Explorer is to seperate a good target from a bad one.
Randy.

Like the Sovereign you want to hear the target and see if it is good, so when you get a signal you want to wiggle the coil back and forth over the target only to see if it is a solid signal or a false signal. This basicly is the Sovereign or Explorer wiggle as it will amplify the signal.

when your cursor is at the top of the display near the left side give the coil a wiggle to see if you can raise the pitch of the audio tone. This will tell you it probably isn't iron.

i know this is a DUMB quesstion but ive been reading these post and it sounds interesting, but how do you do the explorer wiggle..i know its moving the coil left to right and back but at what speed and how far

Its kind of like shaking it back and forth about an inch or two. I'm not sure how it works but it works good. Theres not really a sweep speed...just wiggle it.
Randy.

cool, thanks for that ill give it a try later on when i go out

Basicly the wiggle is just going over the supected target ONLY!! back and forth over that small area so it is just a wiggle as we call it.
Rick

I thought the Explorer "wiggle" was what I was doing when the UPS truck pulled up with a box from Kellyco!
