Is there a way to find local clubs?

The FMDAC keeps a running roster of clubs, but I think that is only clubs that are members of their parent organization, and not necessarily "all" clubs. I think the best way would be to talk to dealers in your area (look up in the yellow pages under "metal detecting equipment..."). And as long as whatever dealer that is, isn't just a department store, or a radio shack or whatever (ie.: is an actual hobbyist himself) then they would usually have the pulse of what's going on in that locale. Because no doubt, they have at least sold to others in the area, and would know from at least that, if there's a brick & mortar club in the area.

Type missouri metal detecting clubs in Google and you have a slew of options, including a site from "go metal detecting"
