Could a guy hook up some sort of back light so I could see the screen easier, also make it fun for after dark hunting.

this is the company that manufactures the screen in the mxt. this one on the link is the same screen only backlit. some soldering needs to be done by removing pins from old screen and resoldering to new and then adding a switch and wiring that (+ , - and switch) to the screen for turning on and off. i had the company drop the voltage on the backlight so it was not as bright, but saved on battery life and still could be seen in pitch dark.used a toggle switch from radio shack that came with black and red rubber screw on weather caps and mounted my switch on the back of the control head on top of the step out on the back. hope this helps.

edit: ok this is the origanl screen just call and tell them you need to replace this with one that is backlite my part# on my screen is "CM1621 SLY".
