Hi everyone

i am brand new to detecting and just bought the F2 thanks everyone for your advice. is there a video on how to use it or any video out there you would recommend for a newbie? Thanks

no reflection on you personally, however all you do is turn it on ,,set the sensitivity,,and listen to the tones!..oh ,,and dig when you hear the right tone!..no video needed!

I wonder if Bill Ladd will produce a video on the F-5. His videos on the F70 are great !
I am one of those waiting for the F5 which I'll consider buying after a few unbiased reviews. But the way it looks, I doubt if it will ever see the light of day outside of FISHER LABS.

The Teknetics Mark 3 seems to have a better chance of becoming a reality! Come on, George Payne!

I'm afraid not. None of the new and possibly the old, Fisher products have a Video/DVD.
Garrett and Whites appear to be the only companies that didn't use the excuse "Oh, its to expensive and
besides we have a manual." Never mind that many of us plain hate reading manual's.
I actually spoke to a Fisher rep about some unrelated issues and he said HE TO would rather SEE how
a machine works and take it from there refering to the manual as needed.

You'll just have to read the F2 manual, which isn't much, and back to the
written instructions when needed. You should do ok. You'll probably have to return to the forum
from time to time and read some of the problems and solutions regarding the F2. Usually its
about sensitivity being jacked up too high.

Good luck with your new machine.

& get familiar with it. It will be similar to the F70 video. Hopefully a little better, as I saw some things I would have liked to have done differently.....
I'm tied into doing only 10 min. to get them accessable for free on YouTube. But maybe I can expand one to 20-30 min. & have a DVD available like the ones I have been selling now?
we'll see.....

Bill
