Is there a SunRay probe for the 705?

I recently purchased a Minelab 705 and am still waiting for it to arrive. I'm already looking for accessories:cool:
I am interested in adding a Sunray probe, but I don't know if they make one to fit this detector. ????

Never heard of one:thumbdown: TomB

Good news, went on Sunray probes web site and there is a new probe for 305, 505, 705. I need to check if it will work on the 30, 50, 70 series. Not sure on price. Tom

Had one on my Whites, finally took it off, between getting wires tangled, the added weight and forgetting to switch it back over to the coil I gave up on it. Went out and bought a Garrett Pro Pointer, couldn't be happier, only need the one pin-pointer no matter how many detectors you have, it's light and has as good a detection range as the Sun Ray, maybe better. this is just my opinion as we all have one.

I don't know where you came up with that! There is no Sun Ray probe for the X-Terra series and will be none as Minelab does not make their micro chip available to anyone outside of the company that is required to communicate from coil (or probe) to the detector control housing. This has been hashed over for several years and if you do a history search of posts concerning an X-Terra in-line probe you will see that I have always stated the same thing that I just typed in this post - many, many times.

My bad, when i went on sunray site i hit minelab and thought i was getting a list of probes when it said NEW 305, 505 and 705. SORRY. When i saw NEW i didn't think detector since they have been on the market for a while. Tom

ewww had pistol probe for 1 day... borrowed it from a friend. He loved it. I hated it. It was like another metal detector! I could just go out with that and a pin-pointer and i was all set lol!.
