Is there a Secret Edge Society?

Hi Guys,

OK, I'll bite. Are Edge owners just more secretive than other detector owners? Does the machine come with an statement on the warranty card that if you talk about the Edge your warranty is void? Or is everyone just meeting at some other "Secret Edge Forum"?

I do want to thank Bill for all the information he has put out on the Edge!

It seems like a pretty good machine but owners aren't very enthusiastic. I like mine.

It's a great little detector that works as advertized. I only wish Fisher could make a lighter 8 inch coil.

It locks in solid on all target. I have mainly just clad hunted with it so far and it works as well as any detector I have had.

I had an Excel before and had problems but Fisher did this one right. Everything works perfect.

Not sure what else to say.

Mine works fine but I have others that do as well or better. Kinda disappointed in the detectors just that came out. Seems like nothing really new.

one problem we faced was frozen soil upon it's release (in mine & other areas)....I'm just now gettin' out with mine again, & hopefully as spring approaches more & more finds will be posted & more talk will come up.........(I have not been fulla what some call more "hype" myself as I kinda take the approach that I said enough in my test).
Actually, it could be reasoned that being quiet online is "good" in a way as sometimes folks find flaws & go to all the forums to "blow off steam" (My battery door broke off, tips over, etc). There are no bugs in the Edge, & new users are quietly going about their ways learning & enjoying it I believe.....
