I have noticed that when I touch my connector to my coil next to the detectors main ousing it will sound off. I am not talking about wiggling itor anything but not sure if this is normal.
My detector seems very touchy in all metal and not sure if this is corrrect.

If the connector is tight it should not sound off if you touch it.
Sounds like a loose connection.
