I found my old XLT Hipmount kit and no it won't work but you might be able to use the old SL hipmount kit by cutting down the side plate and adding new holes to fit the smaller case.

somewhere on the metal detecting forums i saw a chest mount. It was home made and a bit bulky. If i find it I'll post the location. Dave

White made some hip mounted units as part of a special order, a store in California ( I can't remember the name) had one about 5 months ago, I got the information from Jimmy Sierra you may want to go to his web site and ask him.

I don't know why the DFX kit wouldn't work on the MXT? The rod and cable connector are the same. Both boxes are the same size. Rob
