IS THERE A DVD OR BOOK ON THE COIN$TRIKE FOR NEWBIES ?

Unfortunately there's not.

The best reference is this website (read the Fisher Classroom, go to the end the C$ discussions start there when it was more new), and John, a forum member here put together an excellent Coin$trike page :

Many thanks for your reply Cal,

Thats a shame I'm quite disappointed that there is not a dvd or book for me to watch/read !

I have been looking through this forum from Back to front and have found there to be loads of information ( all very helpful ) and have also been looking at the link you provided for me...

Clinton.

I wrote a tips guide early on when the C$ was brand new........it's sorta outdated but may have some useful info in there....

Thanks Bill Can you recall the subject title as you have quite a number of threads under your belt !

Clinton I believe this is the C$ Tips and Troubleshooting guide that Bill wrote:

http://www.fisherlab.com/hobby/documents/CoinStrikequickstart.pdf

Lots of good info in there. Also be sure to read C$ Field Test reports, as they describe how the machine works in different hunting environments and you can glean some tips and tricks.

I don't see it on their latest price list.

Perhaps someone can copy one for you, or I can try and find you one. I think the cost on them was $20.

Hey Clinton, if you need a DVD so badly I could always make you one  as long as the price was right.
Heck just come along on a dig and I'll teach ya first hand my batteries are charged. It'll be a lot
cheaper than flying to england. I am centrally located.

And thanks Mr Bill for reminding me about that obscure VHS tape. I need to add
that and the 5" coil info to the CS homepage.

Now back to trout fishing, the ground is frozen here in Ky.

It was always there in the Coinstrike section.......but if not it should still be on John's page.
