Is there a consensus here on ground mineralization numbers?

Are 50s numbers mild? Upper 60s High? 80s- very high mineralization? How accurate are these numbers?

My MXT does just fine even in this extreme mineralization in the gold fields. I even have the 18" DD Excelerator and it's quiet. So different from the noisy higher frequency GMT.
But the small shooter coil is the best and I can crank up the gain to the maximum. Great depth on that little coil!
Still haven't found a nugget though, just lots of bullets.

I will be in AZ,Tx & NM in January, to look for GOLD, I have the shooter coil, stock coil, do I need the new whites larger dd coil?

.... the coils you have will be fine, but, compared to stock 950, the big 14" DD will give you greater depth, greater ground coverage, especially at depth, and yet will still find those small "Mojave Midget" nuggets. With my MXT, fitted with the 14" DD, in Mojave Desert soil which averages 79 to 84 (I have a few "hotter" spots then my friend Randy Seden) I can still find 1/2 grainers with no problem. Hope this helps; HH Jim
