Is the warranty on the Racer transferable?

I was wondering if I bought a used Racer with some warranty left, is it transferable?
 
I bought mine second-hand. Earlier this year the battery housing came loose, so I contacted Dilek, gave her my serial number, and they shipped me another one free of charge. So I think the answer would be yes.
 
Yes, it is transferable. The Racer two year warranty goes with who owns the detector.----I think Makro wants you to have the original purchase receipt though.
