Is the Tiger shark the best for freshwater?

Idaho-Marke

New member
Hi All:

I live in the mountains and I'm starting to get serious about a water machine. Last I heard the Tiger shark was the choice of most for fresh water. Is that still the case or is their a new favorite? The new CZ-21 is out of my price range. Anything else you might recommend?

THx.

It's very sensitive to small gold, lifetime warranty, probably the best fresh water machine out there !

Idaho-Marke,

I picked a Tiger Shark up at the begining of the water season here in Oregon, this year, and have not had any regrets on getting it. I use it at the local beaches here on the Columbia, and the local lakes and rivers, and have to say that I am impressed with it very much. Does very well, even with the large amount of black sands that are on the beaches at the Columbia. I had a BHID before it, and the black sand was murder on it, very little depth and alot of falsing. Have not had that problem with the Tiger Shark. The Tiger Shark has excellent discrimination and is killer on rings and necklaces, big and small. I have found 11 rings, 7 gold and 4 silver, and 2 gold necklaces, and a silver braclet with it so far. I have even picked up 8 earring backs with it, they were a pain in the ass to find, but I did. If you are looking for a fresh water machine, then you cannot go wrong with tthe Tiger Shark. Take care and HH
