Is the target size feature dependent on sweep speed?

Or will it give basically the same size regardless of how fast or slow the detector is swept? If the latter, that would be a really neat feature. ..Willy.

The WAVE sign shows better with a slow pass of the target.

My in house testing shows that slower sweeps on a good target will produce larger graph results. I haven't had an opportunity to test this unit in the field.

Logically it might be sweep speed dependent and give you a different reading with different sweep speeds.

I think that when i need the feature i will use the same sweep speed anyway and even maybe several different sweep speeds and readings to make so much i can out of the analyzing. After a while i think those speeds will be easy to duplicate without even thinking about it.

A different guy may like different readings at different sweep speeds.

I think its logical and even the only way it can be made since there is no way to tell the electronics how big and deep the target is and how fast your swinging the coil.

2 cents but is only an educated guess.
