Is The Quattro on it`s way out??

Hi All
Just wondering if we will see the Quatro either eliminated or upgraded soon because of it`s super slow recovery from nulling when compared to the Explorer series. In a perfect world (no ferrous trash)the Quatro is good but high trash locations good deep coins are not heard unless you work it ULTRASLOW.I`m curious as to what others think out there?I`m just glad I purchased an EXII instead of a Quattro!

I agree, the Quattro's recovery rate is way too slow, I was going to buy the Quattro instead of the Explorer, but being so similar in price and the Explorer having much more features I went with the Exp.II and I'm really glad I did after reading about the Quattro and its horrible recovery rate, I'm extremely happy and satisfied with my Exp.II and wouldn't trade it for anything, neither my X-1 Probe .

I agree with you there ACE!My X1 is realing helping out my learning curve,I get pretty close most of the time, but it really helps me out in the trash when I`m struggling to pinpoint on deep targets.

only upgrades the software on the Quattro... having had all the Minelabs (except the X's) the Quattro was by far my favorite...I really never had any of the problems that some have spoke about and have yet to see a machine go any deeper in wet sand... I sold my Quattro but plan on getting another.... I just bought me an 8" coil and am hoping to do better with it than the standard 10 coil....I consider the Quattro to be one of the "funnest" detector around....Have fun downunder, RichardnTn
