It has been awhile since I have had a Cutlass but I am about 99.9% sure that it is the g.b. trimmer. You could mark it so you can put it back where it was if needed then turn it alittle on way or the other and power balance it. If you haven't heard of power balancing, do a search on the forums for Monte's power balancing thread. It is basically a method of ground balancing a detector that doesn't have a threshold sound. Steve.

ill mark it and see what happens Your welcome, just remember that just a little bit of movement of the trimmer makes a big difference and they are fragile.
