Is the New COILTEK Lithium Ion System too expensive ?

DOC

New member
I've had very few individuals question me as to whether I thought the new Lithium Ion Regulated 7800 mAh battery system was priced a little high.

So I started to think about comparable items avaialable from Minelab and their cost. Here's what I discovered:

COILTEK Lithium Ion System TOTAL COST $275
Includes 2 - 7800 mAh batteries
Includes carry pouch
Includes AC/DC Charger
Includes Regulator

COILTEK Lithium Ion System cost $275

Minelab Original Equipment

2 Minelab batteries. $82.95 each $165.90
Minelab Carry Pouch $24.95
AC Charger $$4
DC Charger $82.95
NO REGULATOR
Minelab items, (no regulator) TOTAL $318.80

Now add to the fact that the COILTEK system is regulated and weighs 14 ounces and costs $275, compared to the Minelab battery which is not regulated and weighs, 4.4 pounds and costs $318.80. I just have to ask one question?

What ae you going to ask your sweetie to get you for Valentine's Day? :inlove:

Take care!
