Is the MX5 Full All Metal Accept at 0 disc?

not sure what you mean but according to Fox over at the whites forum, the mx5 has a true all metal mode .

Not having one to try I can't answer your initial question, but I know what you mean. I have several detectors that discriminate small iron and other trash bits at 0 discrimination that will pick them up when set to true all metal mode.

The MX5 will pick up all metal with the disc turn all the way down when operating in a mode with the disc option . The MX5 also has a true all metal mode that will pick up all metals or targets in the ground and will give a VDI number as to what the instrument thinks the target is.

That's what I meant to say..TRUE all metal. My whites Classic 3SL which has the black sand switch lowers it to accept true all metal at the lowest setting so it would be like using an all metal mode.I like that feature because it lets me fine tune the line between small iron and small non ferrous metals. It gives me more control in the disc mode and a little more depth. It will let me reject the very small iron and still detect the very small good stuff that a lot detectors pass over with not enough low end rejection in the disc mode.Even at the 6.59KZ with a small coil it still finds tiny jewelry, lead, gold, brass and nickles and I've found tons of bullets with it without having to have a higher frequency. Right now I'm deciding between a MX5 or M6. I DO like the features of the MX5 but I also like the M6. I have always liked real knobs and switches instead of push pads or touch pads. I've always been spoiled by the trigger toggle for mode switching and pinpointing.Very few newer detectors have that anymore.
