still being produced? I was under the assumption that it wasn't but I still see them new for sale on ebay and other dealer's sites. If they are, I'm surprised that they dont get the press that the cz-21 gets. Anybody know for sure? This is/was one bullet-proof underwater machine!
 
The 1280-X is still being made. Check out Kellyco. Bulletproof is right. Mine is 19 years old amd still going strong. With 8" coil I found a quarter 12" down on the beach the other day.
 
... if you like VLF discriminators - which I do.
