is the F75 worth the money difference over the T-2

I'm not sure But my new F75 should be on my door step Tuesday:happy: I have heard from F75 users that its recovery speeds are awesome..Find a stump with a bunch of nails and it will pick them off like a machine gun..check out f75.com..great info...

In my area the f-75 is a little more sensitive than the t-2 in the low conductor range like nickels and below. But its is more noisy also to get that little extra. Both of them are going to get some electrical interference in urban area's but the t-2 seems a little less noisy.

also the t-2 targets lock on better than the f-75 which always are jumpy at least on the f-75 I had.

I know this Ive hunted and area with a t-2 pretty tight then went back in with the f-75 and got a a few more items at respectable depth.not really iron interlaced just a little deeper. You'll notice that the t-2 on deep good targets might only hit one way in hot ground but the f-75 will usually get the same target both ways running je mode.

Also the f-75 will dig more iron [usually the deeper sounds] than the t-2 but its to be expected with the higher gains.

If I was in good soil [loamy type to sandy type] in a deep woods setting I would grab the f-75. if I was in more modernized urban areas I would probably use the t-2 and learn that some of the deeper targets that are hitting one way need further investigating.

this is just my observation from the detectors ive had they could be completely different scenarios in other areas with another t-2 + f-75.

The t-2 has a little more iron resolution than the f-75 since its spread over 40 increments. Both are great detectors and do make finding items in iron easy on those days that you just dont feel like digging alot of junk. This is especially true when you compare them to other detectors set up similar they will out do the others stock for stock same setting same setting which is why so many people are having great success with them. Pretty much they'll pull stuff behind any other detector in a iron trash scenario and do it easily which is what 95% of the people want.then you got the 5% like me that is never satisfied always thinking theres something behind those clumps of nails and you have to find another tool. Hey but its fun.

I use other detectors that will pull stuff behind these machines but you have to use more patience to get it.It seems once you run these latest offerings from first texas on a site a few times and get what you can get thats it for them I cant find the settings I like on them to not dig nails or dig nail 's when you really want to pull some stuff out of the iron nail blanketed areas i have to go to another detector

Ok didnt mean to get off on another story. But if you can get both and try them in your area. I usually buy used then when I find something I really like and am convinced its a tool I need I sell and pick me up a brand new one one of the great things about the classifieds its opened a whole new world up to us detectorist to satisfy our curiosity.

hope Ive helped some way

[probably just confused you HA-HA]
