Is the Clear Screen the same as All Metal Mode??? *N/T*

I noticed no one is answering this question so I'll give it a shot.
The short answer is "Yes" the cleared screen ... whether cleared in the disc mode or adjusted to minus 16 in the Iron Mask mode ... is the Explorer's equivalent to the All-Metal (AM) mode.
That being said, the AM mode of various detectors are not "exactly" the same so it's you should experiment with if you're used to the system used in other detectors.
HH ... Gord.

A clear screen is as close to "All Metal as you can get except maybe the pinpoint mode but thats allmost useless for hunting. The Explorer has no True(at least as we have known it for the past 20yrs or so "all metal" mode, just Zero Discrimination and they are Different.Yes it will detect ALL METAL when the screen is clear or has no black displayed within the discrimination
"Frame" of the display. The later is added for those of us that are being a bit silly.
