I just purchased the X Terra 70 with the 10.5" 18.75 KHz. But I would like to go to the beach to hunt too. is the 9"cc 7.5 kHz deeper than 9"cc 18.75 on the beach? Could anyone give me some good advise on this? My purpose is for rings.

You have the perfect coil already for finding rings on the beach. A high frequency coil is the desired coil for gold and will not miss the silver either.
I would say, because I have neither of the two, that the depth on the two 9" coils would be the same, but each would hit harder on different metals.
But, you won't get any better depth with either in wet salt sand...both would struggle with the mineralization, but would work great on dry sand.

Thanks Bob.oz I appreciate the feed back. No sense in wasting money if I already have the equipment to do the job!
