Is the 250 better than the 350 ?

Im really thinking about giving my ace 250 to a buddy of mine and getting me an ace 350...there are so many frustrated people on here however that use the ace 350 ? I like the 250 alot....is the ace 350 a better machine or is it more complicated ? Anything on this topic would be so mych appreciated. Im starting to think that the ACE 250 is a better machine to use after reading these posts. I use the ACE 250 with the 9 by 11 coil.

If you're a relic hunter, get the 350. If you hunt parks and schools for coins and such, you'll be digging a lot more bottlecaps, the DD loves them. About all the difference in the 2 is the coil, an expanded mid tone range and a slightly different khz. You can run the 6 x 9 or 9 x 11 or sniper coils that work on your 250 if you like, but you'll lose the great seperation the DD gives you.

Yeah I was thinking of getting the 350 and using the 9 by 11 coil when I hunted parks etc....then when I hunted fields etc, I would use the DD coil....would that work ?

Yes, that absolutely would work. And you may also find out that the DD will work better separating targets in parks too. If you can just get around those bottlecaps...lol.

yeah its to bad bottle caps arent worth something.....I wonder if there is something that could be build with metal detecting trash ?

I have used both the 250 and the 350, I own a 250. If i change from the 250 it will be a AT Pro that I get:

Basically the same unit with a larger coil that is a DD which gives you better depth likes bottlecaps and makes the unit noseheavy..so their is plus and minus in either...
