Seriously...you don't know about their drama?
They closed their doors a few months ago and laid off most everyone...all the production workers, anyway.
That move pretty much curtailed detector production.

Their website is being dismantled, you can read about the Mojave there but that's about it.
Vince is still there, maybe one of two others and they are attempting to repair and send back detectors to owners that had sent in for repair, a lot of them many months ago.
It seems they have a backlog and it is slow going but at least they are trying.
They are not in contact with anyone and hard to get in touch with them but once in awhile someone reports they got theirs back out of the blue.

Most think they are this close to being done and when that happens that puts dealers and owners that want to sell them on the used market in a twilight zone.
New product probably won't come with a warranty, older ones might not be repairable if you buy a bad used one...the whole new and used market gets upended.
Then there is the reaction, if the current numbers of Tesoro detectors in existence are all we are ever going to see made do people hoard them, ignore them, sell or buy them?

Right now I think the used market is messed up, the older rare ones seem to have a life of their own but the more newer common stock probably has had the bottom fall out, maybe temporally, but I would think most would pull their ads if they can't get decent prices now and hold them to see if the market improves.

New dealers...they are probably giving less space to this company as they sell out of some models and interest wanes in the whole screwed up brand.

They had a great run but if things don't change for them real soon they will be just a memory.
