Im guessing here, but youd have to be able to GB it first in AM....then switch to fixed. Youd also have to drill your tube. The reason the knobs are built up to accomadate the O rings are the tube is round. Just drilling out the tube would be a problem if it wasnt built up..... round tube ... flat switch would leak. Then youd have to find a water proof switch. The only likely place to put a waterproof switch would be on the cap.
Fixed GB isnt alway the BEST way to hunt especially with constant changing conditions. Thats why the Sov is just a better machine than the Xcal because of its tweakability... if we could just get it boxed up and waterproof.

thats a different all metal mode in the GT than in the Excal that your referring to. Even the GT in the pinpoint mode all metal(same as Excals all metal mode) is not manually adjusted but adjusts by the computer/electronics.
The manually adjustable all metal mode your referring to on the GT is like the one used in the Eureka Gold model, they operate quite differently. This one is not on any Excals or other Sov models, only the GT.
so the answer is no.
