Is Pinpointing The Eclipse 5.3 Different than stock 950?

I ordered a eclipse 5.3 the other day and waiting for it to arrive but one question i have is how much difference is there pinpointing the 5.3 than the stock 950.
Thanks Mark

most find it easier to pinpoint with a smaller sized coil (I generally do), and the 5.3 Eclipse is an excellent coil for that task. Personally, I don't have a problem with the 950 on a Classic, XL Pro, MXT or XLT, but I do prefer to use smaller coils.
The technique is the same. If the target is too large or too close to the coil, simply move the coil towards the target's center, pause and trigger toggle to restore the threshold, release, and continue to pinpoint the target. If it is a coin-type target and laying in a 'flat' position with relationship to the coil, it should be isolated very close the center axis of the coil. This method of 'detuning' is easy to master and has been popular ever since we first had push-button retune designs.
