is pi pro eric foster technology

The Surf PI Pro is based upon the original Surfmaster PI design. Bill Lahr is credited with the invention of the Surfmaster PI. I'm not sure who is credited with the changes from the Surfmaster PI to the Surf PI Pro, though.

Bill Lahr wrote a very notable article explaining the remarkable properites of the P.I detector back when it was brand new. This article appeared in the engineering report for the White's Surfmaster P.I, published by Whites back around 1980. It was a very in-depth and informative article explaining in laymans terms how pulse machines ignore the effects of salt water and some basics about the circuit, it's applications and characteristics. Best I know he still writes today.

That's an article that I'd like to read.

The technical aspects of the Surfmaster PI are outlined in patent number 5414411, which lists Bill Lahr as the inventor and Whites Electronics as the assignee.
